Default PowerBook Wallstreet M4753 will NOT start.

PB Wallstreet Family M4753 will NOT start.

    My problems continues...

I have studied some of the information in this newsgroup....

I disassembled the parts easy to disassemble and put the things
back, and the computer started work.

I formatted the harddisk, installed OS9.2.2, connected to the
internet and all seemed to be ok.

After a few hours ( appr 3) this happened...

The computer fan started to run, like crazy, and the screen went dark.

My current status is... I can't start the computer at all.

1: I press POWER+SHIFT+CTRL+ALT and the fan starts running.
2: I press POWER+SHIFT+CTRL+ALT , the fan stops, and the green lamp is on.
--- the green lamp is ALWAYS on, it never stops to be on.
3: I press POWER+SHIFT+CTRL+ALT and the fan starts running.
4: I press POWER+SHIFT+CTRL+ALT , the fan stops, and the green lamp is on.
    ....and so on....
the only option to stop the green light is to pull the battery
    and the power cord out.

    Question.....

This seems to me to be some kind of a heat problem, and the PB Wallstreet
is a hot thing, my thighs are fried since years....
Can an update of the processor card be a solution to my problem?

8 months ago Apple did a repair in the M4753, I dare hardly tell
the cost of it. The warranty for such a reapir is three (3!) months.
Now they want to chatge me that again, and for those money (2 repairs)
I can but a very good second hand Powerbook, which I have done.
I do however think the M4753 is a good piece of work tool, but
I would like to find another way to fix it.
Oh yes, by the way...I do live in Sweden, which limits some of the
offers to send to overseas repairments.

    Any suggestions deeply appreciated.....

    Thanks for listening.

    /Hans.

Sounds like it is time to replace the backup(Pram) battery(not a do it yourself
project). Try this . Take out the computer battery(the normal battery, not the
backup battery), plug in the power supply, and try starting. If that doesnt
work, try taking out the battery, plug in the power supply, put battery back in
    and try starting. Good luck
