PPT file to PDF file conversion problem
Hi,
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.0. I have a 7.35MB of ppt file and when i use Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.0 to convert the file to pdf file by clicking on File -> Create PDF, i will have to wait for more than 1 hour and it actually occupied the CPU usage until 100% and i still couldn't see it completed. It seems like it hangs the pc totally. I am using P4 1.8GHZ with 256MB.
Another problem is that if i wait till it finally finished converting the file, the file size actually increased than the origin file size.
Can someone give me a hand on this?
Thank you very much.
Regards,

Re: PPT file to PDF file conversion problem
check your powerpoint file for transparent images, if there are any, see if you can save the original images in the Tif/eps format, also resize them to the correct size before inserting them into an office application.

Re: PPT file to PDF file conversion problem
Thanks for the reply.
I did try on another ppt file which is 6.35MB and it hung until the page 30. So, i just took out the page 30 and tried to convert again.
Finally, i manage to convert the file to pdf but guess what is the output? The file has became 11MB.
:(
Any clues?
Regards,
Carrey

Same clues as in my previous post, they still apply.
