Preferences NOT saving
Hello,
Using Illustrator 8.0, I have for years been using default units of inches for the rulers, and points for text. I recently handled a customers file that had preferences set for points in the rulers box, and since then, all new files that I start are defaulting to points rather than inches.
I have tried the obvious; changing back to inches in the prefs, and hitting save on newly created files, but to no avail. I am on a Mac G-4 running in Classic Mode from within OS-X
Any help? E-mail to david@theprintgallery.net

Re: Preferences NOT saving
I have tried the obvious
Two things would be just as obvious to me- first, open your Illy startup file and see what the ruler settings are there. If that doesn't work, trash prefs and start over.
