Preferences resetting back to default
OSX 10.3.9 InDesign CS2 4.03
Every so often my preferences reset themselves back to their defaults after I restart InDesign. Its intermitent so I can't pin down why it happens.
I just installed 4.03 and it didn't fix the problem.
Anyone else?

Re: Preferences resetting back to default
Are you closing InDesign before shutting down your computer? The prefs
are written when you close the file and if you shut the machine down
first, it could kill the file.

Re: Preferences resetting back to default
Thanks for replying, Robert.
I always shut down apps before shutting down the OS on all computers I've ever operated.
This, however, is a production machine that is left on 24/7 with only occasional reboots. Sometimes after restarting InDesign the prefs are just mysteriously set back to default.
