    Default Prepress

I need to scan various pieces of existing artwork into FH MX and send them to a
printing Company as (CMYK) TIFF or EPS files for reproduction on their presses.
Could someone advise me on the best way to do this?
    Regards,from bangyuwangi.

FreeHand is not a raster image editor, so you'll need other software to scan
and save the images. Scanning software generally outputs to RGB mode. For
your purposes images should be converted to CMYK mode in an application such
    as Photoshop.

What scanner and scanning software are you using?

You can import the images into a FreeHand document and create your page
layout there. The best image format for FH to work with in uncompress TIFF.

Sorry about the delay and thanks for the advice.I use a Canon LIDE 20 scanner with its bundled software. It seems I will have to aquire Photoshop if Macromedia does not have a programme to do the job.
