Presenting PSD files
Does anyone know of a program that can show several psd files without a lot of effort. I want it like a slide show or powerpoint but with out all the work. I wanted to find somehting that i could point to a folder of psd files and have it show one after the other as i click through. Anyone know of a program that will do this. I was inspired by iPhoto on the mac that allows an instant slide show of your digital images without any set up.

Re: Presenting PSD files
Why keep them as psd's-- If you use jpg (use copies and keep originals) there are several nice dhtml slide show scripts on www.dynamicdrive.com for free.

Re: Presenting PSD files
Only bad thing is that is seems to do images full screen only, so they
need to be at least as many pixels as your screen rez to look good.
Mac,
I downloaded IrfanView a while ago, but never installed it. Doesn't it have a "fit screen" setting? Or lock magnification?

Yes, for normal viewing and manually moving through a directory, but that> Doesn't it have a "fit screen" setting? Or lock magnification?
option not available for the slideshow function.

Re: Presenting PSD files
But, to simply view files, you don't really need slideshow thingie
anyway. Just open first file in a folder and hit arrows to go to
next/back images, or spacebar.

Re: Presenting PSD files
Right. That part I got. In fact, I downloaded IrfanView because YOU use it. It's just that I've had ACDSee forever, and well, it's not broken. When I upgrade to XP (cough), I won't be usig ACDSee anymore, so I plan on using IrfanView.

What are you guys going on about?
The answer is Photoshop Album. It will do exactly what Eric wants with no messing about. [And it's very cheap.]

Re: Presenting PSD files
Yep, I use IrfanView more than PS.
Quickie stuff and whatnot. Also have ALL my pic file types associated
with it; audio and video files too.
