PreserveSingleQuotes() problem
Hi, I have a database in which some of the text in it has a single quote,
mainly to show posession, such as " cat's ".
Anyway, I can't get this function to work properly to display the aposthrophe
and I keep getting boxes instead. Heres my code, can someone tell me where I
should impletment the function?

Are you copy-and-pasting from a Word document? Microsoft''s smart quotes will
do this to you. The single quote you see isn't really an ASCII 39. I'd run
the (untested) debugging code below to see what the character really is.
<CFOUTPUT>
<CFLOOP i="1" TO="#Len(offendingString)#>
<CFSET temp = Mid(offendingString, i, 1)>
#temp# (#Asc(temp)#)
</CFLOOP>
