    Default Preserving hyperlinks from Word

I have not been able to create a pdf that preserves my links (within the document) with Acrobat 6.0. The target documents are created in Word 2002 running on Windows XP. What am I missing?

How are you converting? You should be using the PDFMaker Macro from inside Word.

I'm struggling with this same problem (Word 2003), but I think I've stumbled onto a solution... Instead of using hyperlinks in Word, try using Cross-References (Insert>Reference>Cross-Reference).

In the small test case that I used, the cross-reference converted to a hyperlink as expect. My caveat - I've only tested it on a small scale - so I won't vouch for the solution 100%.

If it works on a larger scale, I'll come back in and post a confirmation.
