Preserving Illustrator Capabilities in Multi Page PDF

I need to know if anyone knows how to create a multi page PDF from Illustrator while preserving the Illustrator capabilities - primarily the swatch list. When I save a single page PDF and I reopen it in Illustrator it gives me all capabilities including showing me my original swatch list. When I try to do the same thing with a tiled multiple page Illustrator document, when saving as a PDF it gives me the option of "Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities" as well as "Create Multi-Page PDF from Page Tiles", although when I check 1 of them, the other un-checks and vice verse. It simply will not allow me to check both boxes. Does anyone know how I can export a 30 page Illustrator document into 30 individual PDF's without exporting one at a time and keeping preserving it's Illustrator capabilities?

I believe this works in the newly announced Illustrator CS4. It supports multiple artboard (much more powerful than page tiling) which can be exported as multiple page PDF retaining the attributes on all pages when Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities is turned on.
