Default Prevent certain users from accessing the web

    Hi,

I have a win xp pro machine with each of my family
    members as users.
Is it possible to prevent one of these users (my younger
sister) from accessing the internet (we have an ADSL
    connection)?
I have looked in the Manage Computer section of
Administrator Tools, and also in the Local Security
Policies, but cannot seem to find anything to so this.
Also the connection is shared throught ICS and used on
another machine, so it would be helpful if this could be
done whilst still keeping the connection alive for the
    other machine to use.

    Thanks

You are looking for a technical solution to a social problem.
Parents should not allow young children to play in the street
or play on the web without supervision, and parents should
ensure that children understand and obey simple commands, such
    as "no".

    Just one parent's opinion.

you may have many options. for example, create a batch file for her logon
script. the batch file will re-set LAN settings or add netsh command to
    disable the default gateway.
