Default Preview in Mac solves the poor Acrobat display. In Windows...

    there is an equivalent?

As I have a particular kind of timetables that must be checked visually we found that Mac preview really shows the different hairlines we use (from hairline to point) contrary to Acrobat that unifies the thickness to the same with a very thick and uncertain representation.

As my partners are checking now in Windows these designs may I ask a help to use other software there instead of Acrobat to obtain the right resolution?

I am talking of display. Not at all of printing, where Acrobat is perfect.

    Thanks

I did a little test. It doesn't change a thing. I don't know why printing the document from Acrobat still prints broken lines while the display is solid.

I searched in Google and found a lot of sites related to this real problem.

It seems something that Adobe could fix: Preview (Mac) has solved it perfecly.

I tried your formula but lines remain as big as steel pillars.

    Thanks for your interest.

Look in your preferences and make sure that "smooth text", "smooth line art" and "smooth images" is checked.

(In Acrobat 5, that is under "Display", in Acrobat 6, that is under "Smoothing")
