Preview requires upload - wtf happened ???
One fine day.... sun is shining, I am happily hacking away at my Dreamweaver
project - and I decide to preview the page I am working on. ALL OF A SUDDEN: DW
needs to connect to the server to upload the file before I can preview it. How
did this happen ? I did not change anything... guess I pressed some wild hotkey
combination but now I have no idea on how to get it back to normal (!?!!!)
As you might already have guessed uploading a page that is "in work" on the
real website just so I can preview it is out of the question. This pretty much
makes working impossible ! I need help fast!
Thank you very much!

Do you have a testing server defined for the site? Do you NEED a testing
server defined for the site? If you have one, is it pointing to the Remote
server?

Indeed suddenly there was a testing server... I have no idea where it came
from. I deactivated the testing servers ftp access and now I can work again. I
guess the remote info can somehow be turned into a remote server by some
hotkey. (I press crazy key combos sometimes.)
Many thanks!

I don't think there is any way to get such a thing without actually
twiddling the dials, so to speak....
