previewing html problems
I have question regarding previewing dreamweaver html page in my local browser.
I have created several pages with the same look/template. I will call them
1.html and 2.html. When I preview 1.html in the local browser (using both
firefox and explorer on a pc), the preview looks exactly like it should. When I
click to visit 2.html, then 2.html shows up with the correct background color,
but the images are Xs. The text that has css attached to them don't look as
they should (the formatting is wrong).
I have saved the images in an images folder, the html in a pages folder. the
links between pages were made using the propeties panel. I am highlighting
text/or clicking the image, then clicking the folder next to the link option,
and selecting the html inside the pages folder.
I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004. It is similar to CS3 right? You're help would
be appreciated.
Best,
Nicolai

Re: previewing html problems
I figured out how to see the images. In the properties panel, click the image,
and make the link relative to the document, not to the root folder.
But the text that I have formatted with css still shows up with the css. How
can I make sure the appropriate css go with the text?
