    Default Printing 4-page spreads (IDCS1)

I'm having a problem printing spreads in IDCS. I'm doing an 8-page double parallel brochure, which consists of two four-page spreads. InDesign seems to ignore page settings on spreads which are more than 2-pages. so the work around I use for 3-page spreads is to use manual tiling, and set the rulers to the point I want to print, however on 4-page spreads, it will only print 1-2, or 2-3. It will never print 3-4 no matter where I put the ruler, I've tried putting it between pages 2 and 3, and between 3 and 4 and get the same result. Anyone else have this problem? is it a bug which is fixed in CS2? Any reply would help.

why not create one page the size of the whole thing and simply insert guides and score marks?

    Tom,

That's a good suggestion. I'd still like to hold out for a solution rather than a workaround though. Hope someone knows whether it's a bug or if there's a way to print things like this normally. Thanks again for your suggestion, we might just end up doing that.
