Re: Printing big formats in fh
Do you want to scale the page to fit the smaller paper or print it scaled at
100% as tiles?
What version of FH, platform, OS, printer and printer driver are you using?
For 'Fit on Paper' with Postscript printers on Mac OS, you set it in
Print > FreeHand MX > Scale %: 'Fit on Paper'
If you want to set the percentage manually, ' Scale %' to Uniform and enter
the percentage.
Do you find those settings?

Re: Printing big formats in fh
I have had some problems printing to larger paper sizes. I would go to page set
up and choos e the printer and the papersize. Then, go to print and choose
print and it would still print on default 8.5 x11. Then, I found in the Print
dialog box, that under the button which lists by default "copies & pages" there
were a whole series of optional buttons. One in partticular that you need to
check is the Freehand MX button. This opens the printing settings of the
progam. There is an "Advanced?" button that you should click that lets you see
three more settings, Separations, Imaging, and Paper Setup, click the tab
labeled Paper Setup then you can choose the paper size you need. Or you can
choose to make yourself a custom paper size and make your own. You will also
see a preview of the document and the printing orientation in the adjoining
window. Then click Apply and OK and it should work. I hope this will help you
