Re: Printing comments
Hi Adobe,
I used to be able to write text onto my PDFile pages and then justified it. Now with this new upgrade 6.0 version, that is not possible. And then there's the print, comments are not printable. What gives !!! Anything other than this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Josh

Re: Printing comments
Ikassof
In Acrobat, File > Print > Print What > Document and Comments
Josh
This isn't Adobe, it is a User to User forum, as per the statement at the top of the page :)
If you enter text into a PDf using teh Text Box Tool then you are able to justify the text. Make sure you have the Properties Bar displayed (Ctrl + E) and you will see all the options. To print the comments, see above.

Re: Printing comments
I also have a printing question.
I have a large PDF document that is 11X17. I have 8.5 X 11 paper and would like to print the document spanning 2 pages. I do not want to use the 'fit to page' setting as I lose too much detail in the poster. I intend to print it and tape it together to place on a bulletin board.
Is it possible to print the document spanning 2 pages?
I haven't been able to figure out how yet.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Cal

Re: Printing comments
Hi George,
I forgot to mention that I am using 5.0. Are your instructions for 6? I don't see the "Print What" option.
Thanks.

Re: Printing comments
If you're using 5, there's a little "Comments" checkbox you need to check.

Re: Printing comments
Ah ha, I see.
But can I get the contents of the comments icon to print, even in summary form, separate from the document?

Printing Comments
In Acrobat 6, I would like to make a document so that it automatically prints comments. I don't mind the user selecting not to print comments as was the case in version 5, but I want the user's program to print comments by default. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Printing Comments
Print your PDF to PDF with the comments to make a new PDF with the comments as a permanent fixture. You will lose all your links etc but these can be added again by using the Document > Pages > Replace.
There is no way to force the user to print with comments.
