Printing from Acrobat...problems

We're having a problem here. Our corporate material has a banner header and footer which runs right across the page, this looks fine on-screen. However when we try to print the pdf we get a border/margin all the way round the page. This is by no means a show stopper, but it is very annoying.

How do we get right out to the end of the page?

Can your printer print to the edge of paper that goes through through the printer?

Are you able to print material to the edge of the paper from ANY
program on your computer? This is a feature of only a comparatively
few printers.

I have Acrobat Distiller on my laptop. We were having some general printer problems in our office and I needed to delete and reinstall the printers in my printer settings area. By accident I deleted the printer option for Distiller. The program is still shown on my list of programs, but I don't know how to show Distiller as one of my printers to choose from. Help!

Do I need to reinstall the whole thing?
