What is your version of FH, platform and OS? What printer?

Head on over to the FreeHand support area of the MM web site and do a search
    for 'number of copies'.

Hi, I've got exactly the same problem...

We are using Freehand 10 / Win XP Pro on many pc's and if we print 3 copies of
a single page, the printer outputs 6 of it., sometimes 9 !

This appears today (13 mai 2005) for the first time. We use Freehand daily.

I will p the support for more information and keep you in touch of my
    results.

Thank you. My colleague suggested upgrading the drivers because they were
outdated and my computer is XP Pro. We did that and I sent a 50 count print
job and it worked fine except it was very very slow. Waiting for the next
large print job 400-500 to try it out completly.

I found this article by doing a Google Groups search. You might try this
method and see if it works for you.

Subject: Bug workaround - multiple print copies

Don't know if this solution already exists but I couldn't find it by
searching the forums, so here goes! (It really is very simple)

Current suggestions are that to avoid FH9-10 printing multiple copies, you
must close and restart the application, but this didn't always work for me.

Instead, this seems to solve it and you don't need to close or restart FH.

    1. Go to the 'File' menu and select 'Print'.

    2. In the print dialog box, select the number of copies field and hit the
'0' (zero) key until you can't get anymore in there (I think there is a
limit of 5 digits or something so it doesnt take long at all).

    3. Then click the 'Print' button and this should now reset FreeHands number
of copies to 0 - but don't worry nothing actually prints at this point!

    4. Now you can print again and be sure that FreeHand doesnt send more than
the copies you asked for to the printer!

    5. Repeat steps 1-3 every time you print, otherwise FH will multiply the
number of copies by the previous number.

Note: I have tried just setting the number of copies to 0 instead of 00000,
    but has failed on occasion.

Thank you very much. I have a large print job (500 pages) coming up next week
and look forward to trying this out. We do a lot of our promotional literature
in house so I get to print a lot. Thank you once again for the Google Search.
