Default Printing hi-res photos out of Director

    Greetings.

I need to find a way to print hi-res images from a Director interface.

    Client wants to:
    1. have a customer look through a number of photo choices shown in a Director interface, and
    2. after choosing a photo shown on screen
    3. the customer can then press a button inside of the Director interface
    4. and print a high resolution photo to their own photo quality desk top printer.

    HOWTODODAT??

    Thanks so much.

The printomatic xtra can print in high resolution.

When you place an image in it's page composition buffer, it scales the
dpi resolution proportioned to the on screen size. That is, if a
500x500 pixel member is set to print in a 1x1 inch are a of the page it
will print use the systems standard print driver to print it at 500 dpi.

There may be considerable ram overhead forcompositing very high
    resolution images.

As JB said (now in at least two threads), PrintOMatic can print images. Its
drawPicture() method will print a bitmap from a member or an external file.
