    Default Printing Issues

I have created a brochure in Word and convert with Distiller into a PDF file. When I print, it shrinks it slightly. I have tried cropping and deleting margins but no go. Has anyone got any problems similar to this. If so.... HELP ME! Thank you.

Some more information on versions you are using would be helpful.

There is an option in the Print diaolgue called Page Scaling which you might want to look at. (This assumes you are printing a PDF to paper which is unclear).

A lot more detail would be needed to give you something more definite to look at.

Also try going into the Printing Preferences of the Distiller printer by right-clicking it in the Printers folder, going to Layout > Advanced and lowering the Print Quality from 1200dpi to 300dpi before retrying the print from Word.

    Default Printing issues

Hello. I'm hoping that my issue is really simple. I converted my ID doc into a .pdf document last week and it was fine. However, now when I do it, each side is cut off by about .5". The same happens when I try to print (I was able to print perfectly - now I'm not able to.

I am sure that I changed something that I should not have but I can't figure out what.

I am trying to print through InBooklet.

Thanks for any/all assistance with this.

Your margins, in in booklet, set them to zero.

It's not a margin issue. The margins on all sides are O".

Bleed, gutter too? Does the "cropping" show when you hit the preview button, or just when printed, if only when printed, then it is probably a PPD issue, not and InD issue. Try making a new document from InB instead of printing. I have found that due to the set up of my printer, and it's own internal booklet options, it gets confused and is unable to print direct from InB, I make a new document and the just print from that.

It shows in preview and duriing printing...also, I did make a new document and the same thing happens.

You mentioned making anew document from INB - is that InBooklet? Not familiar with that but I will check into it..

    Thank you,
