Printing issues - ai to EPSON 7500
Hello.
I'm trying to print to an Epson 7500 (no RIP).
(AI 10.0.3, WinXP)
Though everything is setup properly (in AI and in the Epson driver),
AI shows the page boundaries incorrectly (View, Show page tiling),
different than the values we've inputted for page size.
Width is 24" (roll-fed)
Is there a size limit?
I always have trouble printing from AI, getting the image to center it
is grayed out on the Epson driver.
Now, get this. We printed one just fine. Then as we try to duplicate,
(show page tiling) changed and we cant print the whole image.
We've rebooted, we've uninstalled/reinstalled AI, we've pressed all the
buttons.
Does Adobe just want me to buy the RIP for the printer?
I'm an illustrator and built a bunch of art in AI specifically so that I
could print vector images, as opposed to great, big, raster files. Is my
only option to freaken rasterize these things and print from photoshop?
Last resort is to try Freehand.
Any ideas?
Best Regards,
