Printing Multiple Images - Adobe Photoshop Elements

Beth H. Your marvelous explanation to George Forman is a real keeper.I ,however, no longer fool around with printing multiple(different) images on a single sheet--can't really see the point. Might he be better served by doing this? Invest in an inexpensive paper cutter--cut the sheet to whatever print dimensions are required--size the pics to that dimension-- do the printer page set-up etc,and fire away.Sure eliminates a lot of steps, and can save a bunch of expensive paper to boot.(Have I over simplified a common problem?) No, Lou, if that method works for you, I think it's fine. For me, that would be extra trouble, though, because my printer is so hard to reach! If I stretch, I can just kind of slide/toss a sheet of photo paper in on top of the regular stuff!!

There is one advantage to teaching someone how to use the manual method for printing photos - it gives them some practice in using layers in a non threatening way. It's also the technique a person would use for creating a collage, which I've done several times.

I'm definitely a "whatever works" kind of person, but George needed some guidance in basic image manipulation, too. My philosophy is that I'll give the painstakingly detailed long way, and once people learn what they're doing they can make use of any shortcut they find comfortable! Like I do - you don't think I always follow my own advice, do you? :)

I generally print for my album pages which are 8.5 X 11 size photo sheets. Printing dif images on a sheet is my only ' happy' way. Once in a while I take a really good shot...then it's up on the wall and then it's one large printed image. I'm not a 4 X 6 snapshot kind of gal so my album pages have dif size images throughout. I couldn't image only printing in a couple of dif sizes.
