Default Printing non standard paper sizes...

I am trying to print a newsletter...on 11'x 17" paper in an 8 page layout that foldes in the center having page 1, 2, 7 then 8 on sheet one and page 3, 4, 5 and 6 on sheet 2. I am a beginner and was wondering how to set this up within InDesign.

    Any feedback would be helpful.

    Thank you in advance,

First of all that's not a non-standard paper size.

Secondly, please search the forum for booklet. This is discussed on an
almost daily basis. In short, you can use a script or a plugin to do this.

If you have bleeds (color running to the edge of the paper) you need to set the document for 1.25 bleeds. This would prompt you to use customized size paper to show the print marks, crop marks, etc.

This is found in the "File/Print" the click on "Set-up" button. Set-up click on the Custom paper size. Then go to "Marks and Bleeds" There you set your 1.25 for Bleeds and pick what Marks you vendor will need to use as guides for cutting.
