Printing Patterns
Has anyone run into a problem printing an Illustrator document that uses patterns? I'm on CS and can not print. It will send to my printer, but the printer will just delete the request. Any thoughts?

Re: Printing Patterns
Upgrade to 10.0.3. In the meantime, expand the fill of the object.
Object - Expand - Fill
It will tile out the pattern for as long as is necessary to fill your object and your object will mask it.
It may be a PPD issue too, so make sure you're updated in that area. I had this very same issue and figured out the expand. We upgraded to Panther and changed all our printer drivers and the problem went mysteriously away. Unsure what exactly we did, but I never have the problem anymore.

Re: Printing Patterns
Thanks! I tried the Object-Expand-Fill and it worked. I'm on Illustrator CD, so upgrading to 10.0.3 wouldn't work. I'm hoping to upgrade to Panther too!
