Printing Tables - Adobe Indesign Windows

I created a simple table in InDesign with transparents cells and a black stroke. When I go to print, the table on the print is strangely offset and the text in the table is white instead of black. What am I doing wrong? -Cynthia...

Are you doing any transparency, opacity, feather, drop shadow?

Yes...there is an image behind the table on a lower level that has a transparency of 18%. Could this be causing the problem? Btw I am using InDesign 2.0.2 and WinXP.

Then make sure the placed objects and the doent's color model are the same color model. Edit > Transparency Blend Space > RGB or CMYK? Make sure the doent color model is the same as the placed graphic.
