Prints fine, Type looks good at 400+%, looks funky at 100%
We received a pdf from a client. The body copy looks funky (base line is uneven, characters look like they vary slightly in size) when view at 100%
However, the doc prints fine. And when the view is enlarged pass 400% the type looks fine.
The fonts seem to be embedded (subset)
The problems is that they want this document to be posted on the web so it would be nice if it looked good at 100%.
I have never notice this problem before. Is it common. Is there any fix??
Thanks for any input.

Re: Prints fine, Type looks good at 400+%, looks funky at 100%
Jon,
The type is almost all Type 1. No Type 3. The smoothing(s) are all checked in the preferences. Is there any other smoothing controls?
The document was opened up in Apple's "Reader" (don't even know if there is a name for it.) and it looks fine.
I'm using Acrobat Pro 6. 0.2
It's strange—the varying base line makes the type line wavy. And the type is holding the line length , but where the characters are bigger, they look squashed.
Thanks for the good guess.
