PROBLEM : Cannot printing to my EPSON laser printer :'(

Hi

i've just received my upgrade to CS today and i've installed the softwares. wow impressive. everything looks good and illustrator runs smoother than the 10.x !

BUT... there's a huge problem : i cannot print my artworks with my Epson C8600 and C8500 laser printer !

i've seen so much messages in other forums about this problem with epson printer.

Did adobe will release a Fix very soon ? or do i have to reinstall old crap versions ?

First you should always repair the permissions after installing software and in this case restart your computer but before doing that go to the print center and remove your printer and then added it right back.

You may have to reinstall the printer drivers if that did not work or get the latest version of the drivers.

setup the rights goods, and i've installed the latest drivers version. I can print from AI 10, or any other applications, but not from Illustrator CS !!!

any advices welcome ;)

Adobe Illustrator CS has a lot of problems with fast user switching on 10.3. You didn't mention the version of 10, but we had a similar problem that was resolved by turning off fast user switching.

Also thee is a logical way about doing the reinstalls and updates.

I would Trash AI CS preferences, then I would remove the printer from the print list, then I would add the printer back to the print list and then I would try it.
