Problem editing PDF-files - Acrobat disappears!
Hello all you smart people out there. :)
I've been using Adobe Acrobat 7 for editing PDF files for a while now, and been very happy with it.
With an older file I'm trying to edit at the moment, I'm having serious problems.
When I open the file in Acrobat (open Acrobat -> Apple-O -> choose file) it first maximizes, and then starts a slide-show of the file!
In itself this isn't too bad, except it hogs all of the screen and somehow hides Acrobat's toolbars from me, even when I drag it smaller.
That makes it quite a bit harder to edit the file. :)
And as if that wasn't enough, the menu-bar at the top (saying: Acrobat - File - Edit ...) disappears and won't come back unless I restart it. (Via Apple-Q since I have no Acrobat menu...)
I'm at my wit's end here - I have no idea what to do.
Please - offer any suggestions you may have on how to solve this!
Regards,

The file just has full screen selected as an open option. Click Escape
to exit full screen mode.

That's what I did (though I failed to say so in my post, unfortunately).
Once I've done that (hit esc) is when the real problems begin - no toolbars, no file-menu - no nothing. Basically the problem I described in my first post.

Thank you very much to both of you - following Aandi's advice, I managed to get everything running smoothly, and can now edit my PDF-files!
Again - thank you both!
