    Default Problem Embedding Chinese Font

I am having a problem when creating a pdf containing Chinese characters.

The font is called STHeiti and is installed on the Mac.

The error I am getting is:

%%[ Error: STHeiti cannot be embedded because of licensing restrictions. ]%%
%%[ Font vendor (SINO) does not permit this font to be embedded in PDF. ]%%
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: awidthshow ]%%

    Stack:
    0.0184615
    0.0184615
    -0.0184615
    -0.0184615

    0.25

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

Does any body know why this error is being generated and how I may get round it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks

Default Re: Problem Embedding Chinese Font

The maker of any font can decide whether or not it is allowed to be
    embedded in a PDF.

It is especially common with far Eastern fonts to find that you cannot
embed them in a PDF. Contact the font maker, to find out if they will
sell you a special version of the font, for embedding, use a different
    font, or do not embed.
