problem importing image with transparent background...
i'm tryin to import an image from photoshop to freehand that has a transparent background but when i import it it always has a white background, thus not allowing the under "layer" to show through the background of the image being imported. i've tried using PNG, EPS and Photoshop documents to do this but they always come in with a white background. is there some kind of setting you need to change in freehand? surely this is possible...??
any help would be great, and thanks in advance

Re: problem importing image with transparent background...
It should work. How are you making the transparent parts, with a layer
mask? Can you see the checkerd background in Photoshop? Be sure to save
with layers selected.

Re: problem importing image with transparent background...
well the image is a penciled drawing... i select the background layer, turn it into a layer then select the white background of the image and make it transparent, or delete it so it's checkered. then i create a work path (when it asks if i want to). then i just save it and try to import it. is there another step that i should be doing?
