    Default Problem installing Smartclip extension.

I've use Dreamweaver Extensions quite a bit, but this is the first time
I've tried installing and using a Flash extension, and I'm not having
    any luck.

I downloaded kurtd's "pauseMove" smartclip from the flash exchange. I
get a file on my desktop called "MX162426_pauseMovie.mxp". When I
double-click on it MM Extension Manager launches and I get the following
dialog: "Flash MX 2004 does not support the extension type 'SmartClip'."

Am I doing something wrong? Why won't this install?

    Platform: 1GHz Mac G4 with 1GB SDRAM
    OS: 10.3.8.
    Flash: Flash MX 2004 v7.2
pauseMove is Win|Mac compatible, built for Flash 5, and rated 5 stars.

Thanks in advance for any help -joe

Default Re: Problem installing Smartclip extension.

Smart clips are the opld way of doing components and were supported
prior to Flash MX. Some may still work in newer versions, but in my
experience many do not. My recomendation would be to find a newer
component to perform what you need instead.
