problem using the pound symbol - Macromedia Fireworks

Bit of a simple but strange one this. I've just discovered I can't use the symbol in Fireworks MX. When I try it produces a J. I've tried Dreamweaver and have the same problem. In DW I can get a using the Special Characters - but when I copy and past this into FW it pastes as a J! My keyboard setup is definitely UK English - no problem in Word. Any ideas? Thanks Keep it simple http://www.simpleweb-solutions.co.uk...

    Thanks Sam

It was as simple as that. I was using a font called Helios - which obviously doen't have the sign in it.

If I use other fonts the is available.

    Cheers!

Glad it was that simple. I find myself having to mix fonts all the time
within Fireworks, just for missing symbols within font sets.

    Cheers,
    Sam
