Problem with a placed PSD file. - Adobe Indesign Windows

A PSD file that contain a background CMYK (100,30,0,0) in Photoshop; itīs been converted to CMYK (100,29.80,0,0) in InDesign. Why? Photoshop only use integer for CMYK values. Why InDesign use 29.80?...

How do you know the CMYK values? Is Photoshop using the same color profile as InDesign?

In InDesign Iīm using the eyedropper tool to pick up the color.

I wouldn't check that way. Use the separations preview palette to check.

Thank you Robert, with separations preview (100,30,0,0) OK. What I still donīt understand is why ID can use 29,8 in the color palette if separation always read 30

Sounds like a tiny rounding error.

Or it's reading the color from a proxy image.

Not only when reading the color froma a proxy image. You can set a square of 29.8% of Cyan fill, and separation read as 30%

The Separations palette always rounds to the nearest whole percentage, so that's no surprise.
