Problem with DW UltraDev 4

Hi,
I have a problem with Dreamweaver UltraDev 4. If I open a document with it,
may it be html or php, I can neither switch to the Code nor to the shared
Code/Layout View, it just stays in the Layout view. I have re-started and
re-installed it a few times, but the problems still there.

Check to see if you have inadvertantly dragged the bar that separates the
split view all the way to the top or the bottom of the view pane.

If not, then try this. Close and then restart UD. Create a new page. Can
you split the view?

I tried all that before, the weird thing is that the Layout view is there all
the time, also when you press the Code-View-Button it stays. When I restart DW,
it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, I could not figure out when it works
and when not. I only asked because I thought somebody might have the same
problem. It seems to me like a mistake in the software, but thanks anyway,
