Problem with exporting!
I'm working at a personal site using Flash MX and for graphics I'm using Fireworks MX.
I have made some graphics in Fireworks and trying to export them in Flash, but they do not look like same as in Fireworks.
They loose all the effects!(drop shadow)
Any advices?
thanks

Select the objects that have the drop shadows on them and any other
objects that have effects or fill or stroke settings that Flash doesn't
parse and use the Modify > Flatten Selection command to render those
objects to bitmaps. Then save the PNG and import the Fireworks PNG into
Flash. Certain features in Fireworks are beyond Flash's capability to
render, so you have to help it along a bit. Of course, doing this looses
your vector editability. But then that's why you keep your Fireworks PNG!

Re: Problem with exporting!
The .gif format does not support partial transparency. A pixel is either fully transparent or fully opaque. You can't expect the partially transparent shadow you see in Fireworks to be partially transparent once you export your .gif. To get the effect you're looking for, you need to set your canvas color to the background color of your Web page. Then, the shadow colors will be correct.
