We have a several PDF documents all connected to each other with Bookmarks. The Bookmarks act like a table of contents using nested bookmarks in a clear and easy to understand structure. Every PDF file has the same Bookmark layout, so it feels like one big document.

The problem is the current bookmark is not highlighting. The bookmark for the first document, the entry point to the other PDF files, is highlighted. No matter which bookmark you click, and the link can go to a different page or a different file, this one Bookmark remains highlighted.

We want the Bookmarks to act as a type of navigation, to let you know where you are in the table of contents.

How do we do this? Can it be done?
