problem with internet dial-up connection
Hi all!
I'm trying to make my winmodem work on my Ubuntu Breezy.
I've downloaded and, i guess, properly installed the debian package for my
winmodem
(http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/kernel-2.6/Ubuntu/ltmodem-2.6.12-9-386_8.31b1_i386.deb).
Ubuntu recognize my modem and when i try to connect to internet i hear the
usual sound of modem composing the number and exanche information to connect
at internet.
The problem is when sounds finish, at this point ubuntu have to give userID
and password of my connection, but seem that this doesn't happen. It's like
gppp wait for something and after some seconds the connection is closed for
"time out".
Sorry for my english, i'm italian.
Hope someone can help me.
Bye
Nico
