Problem with layers - Macromedia Dreamweaver

Hello, I have created a website with layers. The layers contain text and pictures. Now I open the website with different monitor solutions and sometimes the layers aren't on the position where they should. For example the picture layer is on the text layer. What can I do? How can I change the code, that the layers are fixed on the site. Thanks for the help. cheers, arvid...

Default Problem with layers

Hello,
I have created a website with layers.
The layers contain text and pictures.
Now I open the website with different monitor solutions and sometimes
the layers aren't on the position where they should.
For example the picture layer is on the text layer.
What can I do?
How can I change the code, that the layers are fixed on the site.

Thanks for the help.

cheers,

Arvid:

Dreamweaver's "layers" are absolutely positioned - this means that when you
place one at 200 pixels top and left, it will be there until you move it. I
guess what you are interpreting as layer movement is actually movement of
page content within a centering table - is that the case? Can you post a
URI to the page in question?

I won't say a word about the fact that you are using frames. Nope. Not a
word....

Umm - which layers? Which page? Which frame?

It appears to happen on several pages. For example:

http://www.rega-hotel.de/english/zimmer.html
http://www.rega-hotel.de/english/veraeume.html

It's caused by the mixture of layered content and non-layered
content. The non-layered content shifts as the page is resized causing
it to overlap with layered content.
