Default Problem with password loggin in to Windows

I have Windows XP Home Edition on my laptop. We're
running our LAN on Novell Netware. The system
administrator created a new Windows user account on my
laptop because he needed to configure it so that I could
connect to the internet. When I tried to loggin I first
got the usual Novell login window. I typed my password
and it went throgh without a problem. I then got a second
password promt screen from Windows which I never get
since I have my Novell and Windows passwords
synchronized. This window has three fiels: User- where I
typed my user Id, From- which is blocked and shows my
user ID (Leonardo), and Password- which I typed in. I
then received an error message saying something about
veryfing the ID or password. I was never able to get
through this with my password. I then used the
administrators recently created ID and Password (blank)
and was able to get in. I tried logging out and back in
with my ID and password several times without success. I
then tried by changing the type of the administrators new
account to a limited account hoping that this would force
Windows to recognize my account. This did not work. I was
still not able to log in to Windows and now I have no
access to my files. I know there is no problem with my
password. Before changing the type of the administrators
account (Dennys) to a limited account I went into my
account and changed my password. I had no problem doing
this. Windows did recognize my old password and the new
password I created was the same one as the old one. I
tried loggin in again without success. When I log out I
do not get the switch user button as an option from
windows. I just get, "log off" or "Cancel". What can I do
to access and recuperate my documents?
