Default Problem with QuickTime and iTunes

Whenever I double click on an MP3 file my QuickTime player opens rather
than my iTunes. Does anyone know how I can get iTunes to open instead
    of QuickTime?

    G4
    10.2.6
    QuickTime Player 6.3
    iTunes 4.0.1
    iPod software 1.3

    Thanks,

    John

In the finder select any MP3 file. Press Command-i to call the information
dialogue (³inspector²). Go to ³open with². Select iTunes and press the button
    ³change all².
