    Default Problem with sound file.

I try to insert an .aif sound file and a receive the following message:
"The type of file you have selected is not supported. Please select another file."

I have Acrobat 7.0.2., iTunes and QuickTime. I checked Acrobat preferences → multimedia. Preferred media player is QuickTime. I can't select another one even if I want to.

The multimedia plug-in is loaded and certified.

I don't know what to do.
    I appreciate any help, thanks.

If you have QuickTime 7 installed, there is a known incompatibility with Acrobat 7.

If you have Panther (OS X 10.3.x), you can go to the Apple website to download an application to back down to QuickTime 6.5.x. I you have Tiger (OS X 10.4.x) you're out of luck.

Strangely, Acrobat 6 will work with QuickTime 7.

    Thanks.

    Yes, I have QuickTime 7 so I can't do anything (Mac OS X 10.4). I will wait.
