Problems connecting through a firewall
Hi,
We are testing contribute with a client of ours. I've set up a simple test
site which works fine with Contribute from our offices. The client is behind a
firewall and after turning off FTP performance optimisation option can get as
far as connecting but when they click to edit the page they get the following:
"Contribute encountered a network or file system error. Please try the
operation again..."
We are using the Serv-U FTP server and I can't see any problems in the logs.
Does anyone know what the problem could be or how to investigate further?
Thanks very much.

Re: Problems connecting through a firewall
I've used the logging
(http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_19506) and
it's saying:
35 31/01/2006
13:27:22 772518 netio/FTP GetData REMOTE_IO_ERROR 20 150 0.7559 ftp://10.184.28.
1:21/ /index.htm.LCK
meaning that it can't get the index.htm.LCK file I think. But the FTP server
logs say that it's sending it successfully.
There's also a lot of RESOURCE_DOESNT_EXIST entries in the log where it's
trying to find the mm directory.
