Problems exporting layered .psd with Illustrator 10
Everytime I try to export a layered .psd file from Illustrator 10 when I open it in Photoshop 7 it seems to have merged most of the layers into one. I am running Mac OS 10 on a G5..
does anyone know if there is a fix for this. I have the latest patches for both Illustrator and Photoshop.
cheers
Wil.

Re: Problems exporting layered .psd with Illustrator 10
I'm having the same problem - but with Photoshop CS and Illustrator CS for windows XP. When I try to export an illustrator file with a lot of layers, it merges some of them even when I have "keep layers" checked on export.
Any help?

Re: Problems exporting layered .psd with Illustrator 10
It sounds like you may have some transparency effects on some of your layers. Drop Shadow, perhaps? I've found that if you do have any of the image effects applied to an object, then you need to flatten or expand the object before exporting to PSD.
