Mike, I started my own topic, as Christine was asked to do. No error messages, just blank pages. Other applications working just fine. I haven't re-installed the driver: haven't been able to find an update.

You don't necessarily need an updated driver. Just delete the driver
that is there and re-install a new copy.

I'm not sure where the drivers ARE in OS X, much to my mortification. Everything is organized differently. ;-(

In the Applications folder, you will find a Utility folder. Find there
the Printer Setup Utility. Open the application select the printer
driver there and click the delete button. Then hit the add button to
re-install the driver.

If you are finding it hard to sort out how OS X works you might look at
the OS X Missing Manual Tiger Edition, by David Pogue. He was the
Circuits Editor and main computer writer for the NY Times for several years.

I also recommend the OS X Missing Manual Tiger Edition. I picked up a copy just as it was released at MacWorld Boston. It should be available from Amazon.com or your bookstore before long.
