Problems registering with RHN
To Whom It May Concern:
I have just installed Linux on my system for the first time. I am running
Red Hat Linux/x86 9 (Shrike). When I try to update using the up2date program
I never am able to update. I have no problem using the web and I have
broadband. The following things have occurred.
1) The privacy statement is never visible regardless of how long I
wait. I am assuming this statement is downloaded from RH.
2) I am always getting an error message saying it had problems with my
user name. I have used many different kinds of user names.
Thanks for your help

the free download? In any case, check out the tool at www.autorpm.org,
which I find more flexible and usable.
