Problems transferring files
I have a user that is having problem publishing files when linking to a file
from their computer. I have tested and my connection works perfectly. When the
user tries to add a file or image from their computer it publishes the file
with a link to the file on her computer instead of transfering the file to the
server at the time it publishes the page. Has anyone else seen this issue and
how did you fix it?

Re: Problems transferring files
Blue25,
I have seen this and would think it is a Role setting that needs to be
adjusted. You might do a compair between your roles and see if there is any
difference in the "file placement" settings.
She might also just need to Publish the file then link to it. Select File >
Publish File from My Computer (this is a feature in 3.11)

Re: Problems transferring files
Hi Guys
I had a similar problem: One CT user would always produce links to her PC,
even though the file was uploaded to the server as it should. It was always the
same user - other users within the same Role didn't have this problem.
The solution in this case was a new PC, but I suspect a complete wipe and
reinstall would have achieved the same result. In other words, the problem
appeared to be related to the users PC setup, not CT alone. This is a bit of a
drastic "fix", but it worked!
