    Hello,

I don't understand how this solution can satisfy you?
The problem has been solved for your Acrobat reader, because you change YOUR settings, but what about the client you send your pdf file to?

If he doesn't change his setting, your document won't be displayed as you want it to be...?

Can't we force, by scripting or something else, to change the resolution of the reader when the document is open?

No, the user's preferences take precedence over the creator's wishes.
There is a tension here between creators who want to own the display,
and users who actually do: one sees this all the time in browsers. You
can't own the user's desktop, so it's best not to try.

That said, there are settings in the open preferences which will
    sometimes satisfy both groups.
