Problems with Checkin
I have been running into a problem with a file that I have not been able to
fix.
The file is on both local and remote. I can see it in both places in the
site panel as well as windows explorer.
I can open it from both local and remote site views.
But if I try to open it from the local view I get an error that says it is a
read only file. When I say check it out anyway, I get an error that says
Checkout failed as it doesn't exist on the remote site (which it does). But
it opens the file (with the green checkmark). I then check it back in
(which works) and I get the lock symbol (showing it is readonly).
When I try to open it again, I go through the whole thing again.
I also tried going to the Site/Advanced/Recreate Site Cache. But that
doesn't seem to help.
I also tried Putting it, which appears to work, but then I go through the
same thing when I try to open it.
What is the problem here? The file absolutely is there in both DWs Site
views as well as Windows Explorer (as I said).
This is getting very frustrating.
Thanks,
Tom

have it put the files from my local machine to the remote and it shows the
file. Shows it being put. I close the program open it again and try to
synchronize again and there it is again.
I can do this 10 times and it will always find it.
