Problems with font colors, styles and sizes
I run Contribute 3.11 (which is the newest version) - and I recently created a
connection key for a customer (type: publishers) where I set the admin settings
for "Fonts and Styles" to:
(checked) allow users to apply styles
(checked) include HTML heading styles
(checked) include CSS style in the style menu
(checked) allow users to apply font and sizes
(checked) allow users to apply bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and
fixed width style
(checked) allow users to apply font and background colors
When we setup the connection - my client can use the style sheet, HTML
headings, and bold and italic - but there are no option in the menu available
to use different fonts, colors or sizes.
I posted a similar problem a long time ago when I upgrade from Contribute 2 to
3 - where I suddenly lost this feature.
You would expect that this has long been solved - but it doesn't seem so.
At that time a work around was adding an editable region back in the header -
which I do have.
Any solutions to this?

a dropdown Font list? And, to the right of that there isn't a size
dropdown list? That whole toolbar is gone??? Or at least all of it
except for the Styles list?

Re: Problems with font colors, styles and sizes
Yes - indeed. Right from the drop-down style menu, there is just an option to
"bold" and "italic" - and then to "left/right/center align" of text or images.
No options to select other fonts, other font colors or other font sizes.

checked off those items.
I'd make sure whoever is using Contribute is actually a member of the
group you assigned those permissions to. Or, even better go in and
administer the Web site in Contribute, look for the user's login, then
edit the role they fit under. Just to confirm they have those permissions.
