problems with fonts in acrobat 4.0
I am unable to make fonts work properly using acrobat 4.0 in windows 98. I have created an ad in quark xpress and when trying to send it to a commercial printer via the internet (using the commercial printer's printer drive), the fonts print incorrectly. I have it set to send all fonts outlined. When checking this, I went though every font and all say "outlined" except for courier and symbol.

Re: problems with fonts in acrobat 4.0
For a prepress workflow, you should either be embedding your fonts or converting them to outlines within Quark (note that this is not what "send fonts as outlines" does, by the way).

Re: problems with fonts in acrobat 4.0
Nathan,
Thank you for your reply. My problem is that I don't know how to embed or outline fonts in quark. Been trying to figure it out without success!
